Shanon Gillette, Lewis University

Shanon Gillette retired as Chief of Police for the Downers Grove (IL) Police Department in January 2023. He holds a PhD in Leadership Studies from Johnson University and a Master of Science in Public Safety Administration from Lewis University. Chief Gillette is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor and Interim Program Director of Public Safety Administration at Lewis University.
